1.Fabric classification
Tie can generally be divided into woven silk necktietie, printing silk ties, woven polyester tie and printed polyester tie (silk resistant),knitted necktie. With the emergence of new products, there are also some ties of wool+silk, or 50% silk+50% polyester, but these patterns are not as many as those of conventional fabrics. The so-called South Korean silk is actually polyester, which is just the name of some domestic businesses. In foreign trade export, it is 100% polyester.
2.Lining classification
The lining of necktie can be divided into four categories according to the composition: polyester lining, pomelo silk lining, wool lining, wool or pomelo silk+polyester blend. Originally, the tie should be lined with polyester, durable and suitable for the characteristics of the tie. The pomelo silk lining and wool lining are basically used for exporting to the United States. Because of the quota system at that time, ties exported to the United States must use the pomelo silk lining and wool lining of natural materials. The quota was cancelled, but American customers have always used pomelo silk lining and wool lining. The feel is soft, which is the characteristic of the tie with pomelo silk lining and wool lining. But for domestic consumers, the tie with polyester lining is more suitable. The tie with pomelo silk lining and wool lining can be worn less often and is easy to deform.
3. Fabric cutting
First of all, cut the fabric into the shape of a tie. Note that you must cut it at a 45 degree angle. The fabric determines the length of the tie.
Then, you must cut the lining of the tie, which is generally made of polyester, silk or wool. The shape of the tie depends on the lining, which is generally divided into straight belt type, small bottle type and large bottle type, depending on your preference.
Finally, cut the silk lining of the tie (that is, the fabric on the opposite side of the big end of the tie). Generally, some ties are used to mark the brand here, but generally the regular fine dots are used. In addition, in order to reflect the quality of the tie, the same fabric as the tie is used as the silk lining, so the cost of the fabric varies greatly.
4. Processing and forming
The flat car is used to connect the fabric, then the silk lining is combined with the fabric, and then the lining is put in. The ironer wraps the fabric around the lining. The seaman uses a needle to sew the necktie fabric and the lining inside (that is, a line in the middle of the reverse side of the necktie), and then uses steam to iron the necktie to form a shape.
